The Coventry Crusaders are a Coventry based basketball team competing in the English Basketball League. With over 18 years in the League, the club was looking to establish a CRM system that would make it easier and more effective to communicate with existing fans and create awareness for the team.
Working closely with the Coventry Crusaders, Pack Smart designed a customised solution that incorporated a strategic CRM system that would help manage a membership scheme to reward loyal fans during the 2009/2010 season. This involved setting up an online-database, through which fans can register their contact details and receive updated information on club games and activities, during and after the regular season. Pack Smart also helped organise and manage the Christmas themed promotional event, ‘The Christmas Cracker’, that offered participating fans chances to win season tickets and other exciting prizes.
This partnership has provided the club with a more efficient system to help attract and retain existing fans. The club is also able to now manage its ticketing options more efficiently, which has thereby led to a significant increase in club awareness and overall paid match attendance.
